ACADEMY OF BALLET

Season 2011-2012 annual recital will be Heidi. All students will have the opportunity to perform in this wonderful production held at Tucson Convention Center’s Music Hall Sunday, May 27 with dress rehearsals on Friday, May 25 & Saturday, May 26.  Each student purchases and keeps his/her own costume (approx. $45 - $88). To cover the cost of the theatre rental, programs, etc., a fee will be charged to each family ($62) choosing to participate.

Students choosing to complete the Intensive Summer Workshop will have an opportunity to perform. This informal demonstration, held at Tucson Convention Center Thursday, June 28, allows the students to demonstrate the quality of technique achieved during the intensive workshop. Classic leotards purchased by the students (approx. $18 - $30) are worn for the demonstration and through the season in regular technique class.

A SOUTHWEST NUTCRACKER CHILDREN'S CASTING CALL

In December, Tucson Regional Ballet will once again present A Southwest Nutcracker. Children are invited to the casting call.  A nominal performance fee per dancer is charged, if selected, to be a participant.
